Potential light…

I am beginning to feel a passion for teaching re-emerging.  I spent the day today looking at redesigning our timetable and curriculum to allow for better quality teaching time, and potentially a new topic-based curriculum.  This is all in the early stages of discussion at the moment but already I am starting to get excited about it.  This is how I want to teach.  I want to be enthusiastic, I want to get totally immersed in a topic and I want the children to totally engage with what we’re doing.  I want them to be enthusiastic, I want them to enjoy coming to school and enjoy their lessons.  These ideas have the potential to bring that about for both me and them.

I’m very excited at the prospect.

This post has no title as I can’t think of an appropriate title that is not a swear word.
